Privacy policy

This policy covers the Stewardship CZC mobile app and this website, both operated by Copperbelt Zambia Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (“the Conference”, “we”).
What we collect
You can read every reading, devotion and newsletter without an account. We only collect the following once you create an account or place an order:

| Name | Shown in the app greeting and on your orders so Conference staff can identify a collection. |
| Phone number | The mobile-money number a payment prompt is sent to when you order a resource. |
| Order history | Showing you what you ordered and letting the Conference office prepare it for collection. |
| Push notification token | Delivering notifications you have opted into, such as a new reading or an order update. |
| Crash and performance data | Diagnosing errors so the app can be fixed. Collected by Sentry, without message contents. |
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your information, to anyone, ever.
- We do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.
- There is no advertising or tracking SDK in the app.
- We never see your mobile-money PIN. It is entered on your own handset, by your mobile network — not in the app.
- We never see or store card numbers or bank account numbers.
Who processes your data
We use the following service providers. They process data on our instructions only:
- Neon — Database hosting — where your account and order records live.
- Lenco — Mobile-money payment processing.
- Resend — Sending transactional email (receipts, password resets).
- Cloudflare R2 — Hosting readings, images, audio and PDFs.
- Expo — Delivering push notifications to your device.
- Sentry — Crash and error reporting.
- B-ne Innovations Limited — Builds and maintains the app, and operates the server this website and the app’s backend run on.
How long we keep it
Your account and its data are kept for as long as the account exists. Order records are kept for as long as the Conference needs them for its own financial records, and are retained in anonymised form after an account is deleted — they record a transaction, not a person.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app: More → Delete my account. It takes effect immediately, there is no waiting period, and it cannot be undone.
Deletion removes your name, email address, password and any linked Google or Apple sign-in, the phone number on your orders, and the push tokens for every device you signed in on. Order records are retained in anonymised form as described above. If you no longer have the app, write to info@b-ne.net from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.

Children
The app is intended for a general church audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
